This project is entirely revamped from the previous in terms of web design and development, using Laravel as the functional backend code, so as to train myself for future web development with modern approaches. A little background information for visitors who have yet to read my previous project(SK Properties) content, here's a brief introduction on how this project comes about. My client engaged me with a proposal to develop a website that is able to showcase the different types of properties that he is selling in Singapore as a real estate agent. Most of the real estate projects he sells were either sent to his email address or accessible at his company's local application. The only way to reach out to his customers are via buying advertising space at established real estate commerce websites such as PropertyGuru.

Based on the previous project, I decided to modify the design into a modern outlook, where only a few palette colours are chosen, green, white, black and grey. The website is also conceptualized as a simple, plain outlook, along with large images that does not sacrifice readability. Used modern fonts for the entire experience, making it pleasing to the eye.

I have heavily depended on images that majorly illustrates on site content such as the details for each and every property listing, while the other vast are used as context decor.

Search is a key feature of the website, providing an explicit filter platform for users who are looking for a property. Users are able to filter results based on their desires in looking for their perfect property, whether it could be for Residential, Commercial or Industrial purpose, for Sale or for Rent, or even for location or price.

Contact Me is a key feature of the website where interested customers can contact for queries and concerns. An email will be sent to the property agent's email address whenever the form is submitted.

Upload Listing is a key feature of the website, allowing the administrator to upload a listing through a step by step procedure.

Update Profile allows the administrator to update his profile.

Listing Details allows users to view property details.

Edit Property Details allows users to edit property details.

News feed allows users to view recent news of the property industry.

I have chosen to use Laravel, a PHP framework as the primary programming language to develop the website. It also runs on MySQL. Bootstrap being the design infrastructure. Modern development tools like Composer manages all of the application's dependencies.

Services like Digital Ocean and AWS S3, are used as the primary content storage and delivery, LetsEncrypt as a Denial-of-Service protection platform. These services help to keep the website running as fast as possible.

Services like Microsoft Azure and CloudBerry, are used as the primary content storage and delivery, Cloudflare as a Denial-of-Service protection platform. These services help to keep the website running as fast as possible.

The E-Commerce website is is a product of my final year project under the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Business Information Technology Integrated Infocomm Project(IIP). This programme aims to instill real-world IT system concepts, designs, development, operations and management issues across a wide spectrum of IT-related modules, to solve business problems related to information technology, and in doing so, innovate new business-based IT products, services and processes.

In a team of 5, we are required to source for and identify a local commerce organization that needs a web solution to seed their business. One of my group mates suggested to go with Wheebake, a bakery company located at a suburb area that needs an e-Business System due to poor sales. We have been told that there was a lack of man-power, the current employee management system was not well structured where the administrative work is done by paper and pen, the only sales channel that could market their sweets was only Instagram.

Our E-Commerce platform aims to make it easy for the bakery to make sales the modern approach, as well as to help the manage the employment system, inventory and business analytics. I wrote the back end portion of the website and contributed a fraction of the design of the website.

Our team came up with the idea of a pinkish outlook to the website as it fits the theme as requested by the owner. Used light colours, accompanied with a readable font that pleases the eye. The admin features were designed as laid-back, as foolproof as possible, allowing staff and the owner to use at ease. We also included their instagram page in the website with the concept of 'gallery' for customers.

Pictures were mainly illustrated as menu items, while the rest were used for beautification. The design outlook of the website is mainly done by my colleague, Lek Chung.

The Ordering Process is a key feature of the website, providing an order fulfillment that comes before the distribution of products. To place an order, a customer has to create an account and add his items to the Shopping Cart. Quantity of the item can be adjusted accordingly. The user will be redirected to the Orders Confirmation page after checking out, where he/she opts for delivery or self-collect, prefered delivery time, date, and mode of payment. We have also included Paypal as one of our features for the range of payment options available besides Bank Transfer and Cash.

Employee Management is a key feature of the website for the owner to manage her staff-related matters. Employees particulars, calculated monthly wages and printable payslips are all managed in this system.

Business Analytics shows the analysis of sales trends. Key performance indexes such as Monthly sales, Best Selling Cupcakes, Most Frequent Online Customers and Top Spending Online Customers.

Inventory Management allows the administrator to keep track of her purchased inventory in the business. Inventory which is low in quantity will be alerted in yellow, and red for no quantity left.

Me and my dad came up with an idea of retailing and distributing Kinesiology tapes for side income. I decided to design a website that is low in cost while being able to support the low profit margin that this business has to offer. M Tape aims to offer low cost Kinesiology Tapes for atheletes who have a need for muscle relieving remedy.

The website is designed to have a relaxed Flat UI outlook, highlighted with light pastel colours and large images. Used fun and friendly fonts and animation for the overall experience, allow users to lay back and comfortably surf the website.

Payment methods is a key feature of the website. It showcases the types of payment methods available.

Price List is a key feature of the website. It displays the various prices of kinesiology tapes for sale depending on quantity, and promotions available.

This website is made is made using my free time during the weekends with the purpose of touching up and recaping my skills as a Web Designer/Developer. This project comprises of a modern state of the art E-Commerce platform, including an admin portal with vast features. It has a typical shopping cart where you find in all E-Commerce websites, where users have the option to pay by cash or credit card.

The website is designed using Bootstrap 3 and Creative Tim premium bootstrap. It is highlighted with light pastel colours and large images. Used fun and friendly fonts and animation for the overall experience, allowing users to lay back and comfortably surf the website.

Shopping Cart is a key feature of the website, providing a consumer friendly platform for purchase of items.

Dashboard allows users to view their purchase details and keep track of purchase statuses. They are also able to view the products they ordered for each purchase.

Wishlist allows users to add items into their wishlist.

Personal Details allows users to edit their particulars and change their passwords.

Business Analytics is a key feature of the website that shows sales analysis. This feature displays Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in graphical formats such as Revenue gained for this and the previous month; Loss/Gain of Revenue from the previous month; number of Orders received this month; Total Earnings in the Last Day, Month, and Year; Daily, Monthly, Yearly Sales Target and Monthly Orders Target. There are also more advanced KPIs such as Product Sales Performance, Customer Purchase Performance, Gender Purchase Performance, and Order Purchase Performance.

Add & Overview Products allows the administrator to add new and search for products. This feature also includes a Stock Management System where it provides a manual option to add/deduct quantity for a specific product.

Order Management System is a key feature of the website that allows the administrator to update the Order Status for customers. It also shows the Products contained in the order to facilitate efficient preparation. View Order shows the order details, such as Delivery Date, Contact Number and Address that is required essentially for delivery. It also shows the Purchase Invoice for that order.

Customer Database shows the personal particulars for each customer, such as Email, Contact Number and Address that is required essentially for delivery.

Chargeables is a key feature of the website that allows the administrator to manage miscellaneous charges such as Shipping & Courier to customers..

Coupon is a key feature of the website that allows the administrator to add/remove coupon codes.

The App Challenge aims to bring out the competency of young millenials like us in developing digital applications while demonstrating our skills and contributing to the vibrancy of the inventive spirit. Being part of Singapore Airlines's digital transformation opened my eyes to some of the many existing business challenges Singapore Airlines face, as well as rendering the opportunity to learn and apply problem-solving solutions to them. Together with over 300 contestants and 7 days, our task is to deliver an innovative yet effective one-stop digital solution to one of the many business challenges laid on the table.

As a team of 4 university students, we took on pragmatic approaches to brainstorm and develop our applications and system architectures, while working towards the goal of solving beyond inefficient and unintegrated management of cabin defects.

My involvement - Front-End Design/Wireframing

Our app aims to solve the problem of Cabin Defects Management which handles both reporting of defects in an aircraft and task viewing for fixes by technicians. The iOS app was built with Swift while asynchronously communicating with its backend API service built using Laravel, a PHP framework, which also runs on MySQL. The app is deployed on a Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, and Carthage is used to manage all of the iOS application dependencies.

My involvement - Backend Development

The web platform handles the manual task delegations of technicians to a defect after a defect report has been sent to the database, asynchronously communicating with the iOS application. This way, technicians are able to access their work through their mobile devices. The web platform is built upon its backend API service using Laravel, which also runs on MySQL and the front-end user interface is made with Bootstrap. The platform is deployed on a Red Hat Openshift Container Platform, and Composer is used to manage all the application's dependencies.
